This is a pattern for my Butterfly and Mushroom Book Sleeve Bag! It is detailed and includes many photos for those that are more visual learners! I have classified this pattern to be at an intermediate level. Though I think an advanced beginner could give it a try :)
This pattern includes a fabric lining section (which is optional) and has a detachable strap so it can be used as a bag or just a book sleeve depending on preference. This pattern is written in US terms (English) - You should know the following stitches for this pattern: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and triple crochet. I use worsted weight level 4 cotton yarn but you are welcome to use any yarn you would like. Dimensions: Sleeve - Approx. L 11” x W 7.5” (flattened, with nothing inside). Holds a L 9” x W 6” x H 2” book. Strap - Approx. L 40.5”
