Butterfly Rock has been in my head for awhile and will be the first in the series with this theme.
I had been thinking ahead to summer days and butterflies, flowers and clover. This was the inspiration behind this design.
This design was created with a confident beginner in mind and although it may look daunting it is in fact much easier than it appears.
A beautiful piece that will be treasured for years to come.
If using 4ply weight the finished blanket size is approx 85 cm2 /34 in2
Pattern uses 1 whirl and 1 whirlette however any yarn can be used to create this pattern. As a guide in DK (Light worsted) with a 4mm hook you will need 1700/1800meters of yarn. (Tester photos)
