This is my take on a lace baby blanket, where I combined my passion for cables with some lace hearts. Big thanks to my pattern testers Christine, Olive, Linda and Marsha.
The blanket measures approx 65x90 cm, which is a good size for a cot or as a Christening shawl.
The pattern is presented in a 7-page document and includes charts, written instructions and photographs of various stages of this project.
I used about 750m of Paintbox Simply DK with 3mm circular needles (due to the width of the blanket). You might prefer working DK with 4mm needles and have your own gauge for it, which is not crucial in this case.
My gauge is 20 sts x 28 rows measured after washing/blocking across the heart pattern.
