Cable bobble hat © Seashells Designs

I love using natural yarns and came across some lovely soft wools and just had to make this hat ready for the colder weather. The soft textured hat is knit in a cable stitch with a 2 x 2 rib. The pattern has 3 sizes - small (toddler), medium (child) and large (adult). For this pattern I used Cascade 220 super wash in colour 877 for the rib and West Yorkshire Spinners Bluefaced Leicester in colour 003 for the main hat. There is no need to use a cable needle with this pattern, just use ordinary knitting needles. The hat is finished with a large bobble of both colours mixed together. You can use any aran yarn with similar swatch measurements to those used in the pattern. This is also available as a knit kit for a young child, contact me for more information
