A beanie style hat, knitted from brim up in reversed stocking stitch with a large cable motif on its side. This hat is finished with pleats at the base of the crown shaping that create a soft gathered finish.
TO FIT SIZE 20 (22, 24) in / 51 (56, 61) cm head circumference.
YARN Approximately 80-90 yrds/ 70-85m of Aran weight yarn which knits to the specified gauge. Shown in New Lanark Heather Mixtures Aran, Bramble.
GAUGE 16 stitches and 24 rnds = 4 inches / 10 cm in Stocking stitch
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS Size 5mm (US 8) set of double pointed needles. 3 stitch markers, cable needle and tapestry needle.
