A distinguished design for the woman with a passion for texture and intrigue. I love textural designs, and when the desire to put the skills into functional items people can, and will use meld, it is a homerun.
I chose Cascade Yarns new Noble Cotton because it has all the qualities needed to make this design a full on Indulgence. The yarn is soft, with a nice twist. It did not split, or frey, even when I had to pull back to redo a section. Mercerized Cotton will hold the color, and with 60 shades available, there are options for every heart’s passion. This yarn will not shrink when laundered following the label instructions.
This pattern is not new beginner friendly, as it requires a working knowledge of Post stitches, and working in spiral rounds. It is feasible for an advanced beginner to be successful, if that person has a trusting spirit and desire to try new things.
