This hat is a quick and easy knit with cabled columns supporting a pendant like motif. There is a swirled crown for interest, which can be done in alternate ways. The simple 16 stitch motif repeat allows you to size this from Small to Large easily with repeats of the motif.
This is a great stash buster, since it takes less than 1 skein (100 gr/200 yards) of a light worsted weight yarn. And it makes the perfect accessory to use that last leftover skein from the Aran sweater you knit last month.
