The Cables & Colors fingerless gloves were created as a part of a knit design challenge earlier this year where designers needed to combine 2 knit techniques in a finished object. My gloves won third place!
This pattern is charted and is knit in the round. My knit techniques used for this design are Fair Isle and Cables. The pattern is currently written for one size, but can easily be edited for a larger size by adding extra stitches before and after the cable sections, and cen be decreased in size by removing a purl stitch from before and after the cable sections.
These gloves will fit a women's hand from teen to adult, and are 8 inches from hem to hem.
This pattern went through several rounds of tech editing and several test knitters before publishing.
