The Cactus Garden Baby Blanket captures the spirit of the American southwest in springtime. The mountain snow has melted and the meadows are in bloom!
This blanket is worked in the mosaic crochet style.
Each row is worked in only one color of yarn. Odd rows are worked in Yarn B (Bernat Baby Sport solid color in the sample). These rows form the diamond pattern. Even rows are worked in Yarn A (Lion Brand Mandala yarn in the sample) and form the background or main color.
You will need 1,230 yards (1,125 meters) of dk yarn (light, category 3) to make the blanket: 500 yards (457 m) of Yarn A and 730 yards (668 m) of Yarn B.
Macramé fringe completes the bohemian look of this baby blanket. Peefect as a car seat or stroller blanket.
