Calendula the Flower Fairy

Meet Calendula and her little sister Daisy, my very sweet flower fairies, with beautiful sparkly wings. Sure to be a big hit as an ornamental gift or as a new friend for a child.

They don't need much yarn so you can easily use up some scraps if you have suitable colours. Yarn type isn't important, but when made in DK acrylic they measure around 6" so of course size will vary if you use thicker or thinner yarn. I've suggested some yarns and colours that are a good match or are the ones I've used. You'll also need a skin tone yarn of your choosing.

This is a super pattern for a first doll and has been tested by 2 doll making newbies. Some basic crochet skills are needed, along with knowledge of common stitches. Some simple embroidery skills needed too.
