A chunky version of Victorian lacy wristwarmers. They narrow at the wrist with cable twists running up the centre and spreading to lace inserts at the cuff and hand. Inspired by the textural vintage style designs in Jean Moss’s Sculptured Knits. Suitable for Intermediate/Advanced knitters. ERRATA: M/L size 2 balls Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran required. Finished Measurements - Palm Circumference: 18(20)cm/7(7.75)ins unstretched; Wrist Circumference: 14(16)cm/5.5(6.25)ins unstretched; Length: 23 cm, 9 inches. Knitted in the round using either double pointed needles or Circular needles using 2 needle or magic loop technique. Written and charted instructions are supplied. Alternative yarns - Need to be Worsted weight or a thin Aran, or thick Double Knit. This is a good alternative: Artesano Nebula, 50g, 90m/98yds. This pattern has been test knitted.
