The Candy Stripes Lapghan is crocheted on the bias (also known as C2C or corner to corner crochet). I love to crochet C2C blankets for a couple reasons. They seem to work up more quickly than blankets crocheted in horizontal rows or in rounds. You can easily increase the width and length of your blanket as you’re crocheting it.
YarnFor this crochet blanket, I chose Lion Brand Yarns Pound of Love and Lion Brand Mandala Ombre, both are worsted weight yarns.
