Main colour: ca. 180 (205, 260, 315, 370) (425, 480, 535, 590) g (cropped version) and 205 (230, 285, 340, 395) (450, 505, 560, 615) g (long version) of Darnie from Studio Donegal, 100% merino wool, 2 ply with 410 m (448 yds) in 100 g, shown in shade 8805 (garnet);
Contrasting colour: ca. 25 (30, 35, 45, 50) (60, 65, 70, 75) g of Soft Donegal Tweed from Studio Donegal, 100% merino wool, 2 ply with 190 m (210 yds) in 100 g, shown in shade 8805 (oatmeal). Or any similar yarn(s) to match the gauge.

Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows in 10 cm (4 in) measured over stockinette stitch in the round after blocking on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles.
