Carrie Beanie

A customer got in touch asking if I had designed a garter stitch child's beanie but I hadn't although I have a baby one amongst my designs. She wanted to make a cosy set for her grandaughter's using my "Carrie" Fingerless mitts and "Hug" scarf for the cold weather. I couldn't let her down so this is what I've come up with! It's knitted flat on 2 needles and seamed with contrast tipping as in the fingerless mitts it is to go with and a contrast bow for a bit of extra prettiness. Both these additions can be omitted if desired or why not add a pom pom instead of the bow?
