Celtic Connection is a design that calls upon the traditions of aran knitting. Over time these designs have travelled the world and many people today claim a connection to Celtic roots. Celtic Connection is a raglan jumper for sizes 22 to 36 inch chest so about 2 years old to young adult. As in all my aran designs this one is much simpler than it looks. The central braid consists of a 16 row braid flanked by 4 row cables which also feature on the sleeves. The pattern is worked in DK giving it a less bulky feel. I used King Cole Merino Blend which is an excellent pure wool that has anti-tickle properties. The pattern calls for 6 to 15 50g balls.
