This rug can be made using heavy worsted/aran weight yarn double-strand, or using t-shirt yarn.

Completing the pattern with aran weight yarn double-strand and a 10mm hook results in a rug that is the size of a petite 158.5cm (5’2”) tall person
If you complete this pattern with your yarn single-strand instead of double-strand and using a 5.00mm/US H8 hook, the rug will be the size of a child (99cm/3’3”). It would use 383m/416y: 233g/8.2oz of Caron One Pound Black and 41m/46y: 25g/0.9oz of Bernat Super Value White.
