The chalky way shawl is a semi- half circular shawl. It starts at the center top and it’s shaped with two kind of increases : one increase at each top edge on every right side and several rows of increase as to shape a circular fabric. It’s crossed by a textured panel (fun to work). Then two series of short rows in garter stitch are worked in order to get a elongated shape. Once short rows done, the shawl is worked with sequences of garter and openwork rows. Easy and never boring !
