Inspired by Luke's checked shirts from the Gilmore Girls I longed for a checked beret. The pattern is not symmetrical on purpose. The top turned out so beautiful much to my surprise, that I didn't have to add any button or pompon.
Note: it's no real fair isle as there are some rows with three colours in one row!
It's a bit tricky to knit these row, but it's absolutely worth it!
