Gauge for Nako Moher Special ( 3 threads together ) or Special Stylecraft DK yarn: 10 cm x 10 cm (4” x 4”) = 20sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch using needles size 6 (4.0mm).
Materials needed • 4 double-pointed needles and circular needles in a size suitable for the yarn weight you are using. I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric. Needles № size 0 (2.0mm), size 1 ( 2.5mm), size 4 (3.5mm), size 6 (4.0mm). • Yellow yarn Nako Moher Special (60% acrylic. 25% mohair, 15% wool 550 meters / 100 grams) or Special Stylecraft DK color Dandelion (1856) 100% acrylic 295 meters / 100 grams) • Red yarn Stylecraft Special DK color Tomato (1723) ( 100% Acrylic 100g (3.5oz)/295m, DK) for beak and crest • Alize DIVA silk effect color White (62), (100% Mikrofiber acrylic, 100g /350m, Lace) for eyes
