These cosy jackets are easy to knit and I have included some options. It's very versatile.
You can make it with or without a hood, with or without pockets. There are instructions for using a zip Instead of front bands. You can use the sweet mock cable down the fronts or on the sleeves or just plain.
The pockets are knitted in by a unique method and only the edge is seamed to the edge of the mock cable. The pocket edging can be in mock cable st or rib.
The yarn I used for the navy blue one is chenille.
The cream jacket is aran/bulky yarn.
As of April 9th, 2021 I have updated the pattern to include instructions for a NON cable jacket. Please contact me for an updated version if you've purchased this pattern prior to April 2021.
