The main body is a simple stocking stitch, whereas the lace borders and edging are basic stitches, decreasing down to give a frilled effect. The sizes run from 16 inches to 24 inches, or 41cm to 61 cm. The finished sizes have an ease of 2 to 3 inches or 5 to 7cm.
