Chill in April

Chill in April is a feminine and elegant, yet casual cardigan, that is easily dressed up or down. Knitted in a light weight yarn, it is perfect for transitional seasons to wear over a blouse or t-shirt. Chill in April will become a staple piece in your wardrobe. The body of this cardigan is worked in pieces from the bottom up with waist shaping in the middle of the back and the fronts. The shoulders are joined using three-needle bind off. After seaming front and back together, stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeve are then worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are picked up for the neckline, button band and buttonhole band and worked in 2x2 ribbing. All in all you only have to seam the side seams.
