Choo Choo Train baby blanket

This is a blanket featureing an old style train. Above it and below it are the words "CHOO CHOO".

I used Berroco's Pima Soft yarn. I love this yarn. Its very soft and washes up easily. The only issue I had with it, was that machined washing and drying, caused the blanket to shorten lengthwise and widen width wise. So the 29”x33” after knitting, became 31”x31” after washing/drying. Its a blanket so I am not concerned.

I used 7 skeins of the yarn and paid close attention to the amount of yarn used (length) from the first skein so I knew how much length the last skein would be. Because the top third of the blanket is all stockinette, you can use more or less yarn to suit your needs.
