These Elfs are favour covers for Lindt Lindor or Ferrero Rocher size chocolates. How cute would they look on your Christmas table? Make one for each of your guests and place it by each person's place setting and it will be a lovely surprise for them as they take their seats.
Why not create a new Christmas Tradition. Knit up one for each day of advent, place felt numbers on the hats (Felt Advents numbers www.lilacsprig.etsy.com), place a chocolate in each and line them on a shelf. Instead of starting at 1, start at 24 and have a Christmas Count down. Or maybe your new tradition could be about a Naughty Elf. Each night whilst the whole house sleeps, the Naughty Elf hides himself along with his chocolate treat somewhere different, so that your little boy or girl has to go on a hunt to find him!
My pattern gives you easy to follow instructions to knit the Elf cozies and includes a color chart to guide you with the knitting and hand embroidering the faces.
