Christmas reusable gift tag / wreath

This fast and easy Christmas crochet pattern has many possible uses!

You can make a rectangular gift tag that you can reuse year after year for zero- waste sustainable gift wrapping at Christmas time.

Or you can use the same rectangle shape as a photo frame which can be an ornament hanging on your Christmas tree. Also the same pattern can be made into a circle shape which can a wreath tree ornament, photo frame ornament, or circular gift tag.

Be creative and use up your scraps of fingerweight/4 ply cotton! You can also use thicker yarn, just be aware that this will make the crocheted fabric bigger, so you may need to make a larger frame.

1 x 50 g ball of each color is required as well as some waste cardboard, plastic, glue stick and markers. You can also use lettering cut from old Christmas cards to decorate.
