Cheer up your sofa this season with a merry and bright tree shaped cushion, topped with a star and decorated with brightly coloured baubles. You could knit a few for a festive forest! This pattern incorporates different knitted textures including rib, garter stitch and stockinette. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cushion is knit in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. The cushion is 44cm tall and 29cm wide (at the widest point).
