Knit a cuddly, chunky doll in bright soft yarn with our simple-to-follow knitting pattern.
Suitable for even nervous knitters and personalisable with an initial on her dress, our popular doll design is now available as a downloadable PDF knitting pattern complete with colour illustrations and full alphabet template. The doll can be knitted in any colour of chunky yarn you like- the images show two dolls knitted in Hayfield Bonus Chunky Light Natural (tan) for the skin colour and Hayfield Bonus Chunky in Signal Red and Paintbox Simply Chunky in Pink for their dresses.
To make a doll you will need: Two balls of chunky yarn, 4mm knitting needles, toy stuffing, darning needle, 1m of black DK yarn, a pair of 9mm safety eyes (with click-on plastic backs)
If you wish to personalise your doll you will also need: a metal sewing needle, white felt and coloured felt to match the dress colour, cotton to match the dress colour, black cotton.
