Chunky Lace Fingerless Mitts

Skill level: Advanced beginner/Intermediate

In this pattern, there is a right hand and a left hand. The beginning of each round forms a “seam” that will run up the palm of the hand. The palm is solid dc with the exception of the last two rows which is done in the v-st. Even though I used the standard chain-3 for a turning chain, my personal preference is to just use chain-2. If you do that, when you join, you will slip stitch into the second chain of the turning chain. This makes for a very neat seam. Feel free to sell items that you make from this pattern, but it would be nice if you credit me with the pattern design.

There are helpful hints in the notes along with a couple of photos. You can adjust the size easily by switching hook sizes. Add a couple of buttons to jazz it up. American terminology used.
