A beautiful and unique stitch pattern makes this blanket stand out from the crowd.
A rectangular baby blanket featuring my unique clamshell stitch pattern, which can be easily adapted for different yarn weights and sizes. Worked back and forth in rows with a border added around the edge.
Skill Level - Intermediate
A short repetitive pattern using mainly basic stitches. Tutorial links given for the distinctive ‘clamshell’ spike which makes this design special.
Yarn Substitutions
Approx 1500m/1640 yards of aran/worsted weight yarn in 10 colours. (150m/164 yards per colour)
