If there is only one cardigan you want to knit for baby I recommend this one.
It is one of my most treasured designs.It is simple and beautiful,a true classic in pattern and shape and can be teamed with just about any outfit you can think of.
It fits really well and looks adorable on both boys and girls.
Moss stitch has an amazing ability to retain its shape and spring back after washing with a lovely supple feel to it.It is light and warm at the same time.
I especially like it in a natural wool colour but red or blue or even black would look just as good. Knit it as a gift for a new baby,guaranteed to please the most discerning recipient!
The pattern comes in 4 sizes: Newborn, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. You require fingering weight wool and 3.25mm or US3 knitting needles.
It is an easy to knit pattern with minimal shaping involved.
