It’s a simple yet classy unisex hat, worked with 1x1 ribbing pattern, seamless in a round. The hat is easy to style and can be worn with a classic folded brim or with a pointed crown.
The pattern is written for one Kids and one Adult size to fit 48-52 cm/19-20 in and 54—58 cm/21-23 in head circumference with a finished length of ca. 29 cm /11.5 in incl. 5 cm /2 in folding brim.
Yarn: ca. 60 [80] g of Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca) with 75 m in 50 g for a Kids [Adult] size. Or any similar yarn to match the gauge.
Needles and Notions: 5.0 mm (US 8) circular or 20 cm /8 in long DPNS needles, 4 mm (G-6) or a bit bigger/smaller crochet hook and/or a tapestry needle for weaving in the ends, 1 stitch marker.
Gauge: 22 sts and 20 rows in 10 cm/4 in with 1x1 ribbing after blocking on 5.0 mm (US 8) needles.
