Clematis Pot Plant Cosy

This is the 1st in my Jardin D’été Pot Cosy series. Looking to give your indoor pots a little pop?These pot cosies are a quick, easy make! They can be used to dress up a bland pot containing a plant, or even a container used to hold pens, toothbrushes, flowers, anything!

I have my plants in a plastic pot which sits inside a plain ceramic planter. This then sits snugly inside the crocheted cosy. That way the cosy won’t become damaged from water leakage. This digital pattern will show you how to create a funky pot plant cover/ cosy which is decorated in a Clematis flower motif with luscious little gold french knots. There are full instructions in how to crochet the cosy, the leaves, flower, stems and how to embroider the french knots. The finished product will suit pots 9 cm in diameter and 11 cm tall, however there are tips inside as to how to adjust the size of your cosy to fit larger or smaller pots.
