The gently curving side edges on this scarf are created by a combination of yarn overs and double central decreases which create the lace motifs. Originally knitted in a worsted spun 100% cashmere yarn the scarf is worked in two pieces so that the pattern travels from the ends towards the centre and then grafted using Kitchener stitch. A lightweight but luxuriously warm design which would make a perfect gift worked in any DK weight yarn.
