This shawl is a shallow half-moon shape which means it is light and easy to wear without a lot of fabric weighing you down. Made just from trebles with a simple increase and decrease it is also easy to make. I have added this edging to jazz this up but you can leave them off and keep it super simple and understated. The basic shawl is the same as the motifs drop shawl.Tension: 16 trs x 7 rows to 10cm (4”)You will need: Mrs Moon Plump DK: 4 x main colour (MC) (shown in Darjeeling) 1 x contrast colour (CC) (shown in Pistachio Ice Cream). NB. Plump DK is made from the highest quality, ethically superfine merino and baby alpaca and is amazing light to waer as wel as being very soft and warm. should you wish to use another yarn it is a pretty standard DK/Light worsted weight.
