These coasters and mandala were originally designed for a workshop. I wanted to teach some specific techniques and as a result I ended up with 3 circle coasters, one square coaster and a mandala. The techniques include my favourite little diamond pattern (I am obsessed with it!) and slip stitch surface crochet. Using the patterns you will be able to make a myriad of different coasters, just use your imagination! The patterns are written in English and US crochet terms, and are charted. I prefer to use cotton yarn for them, but any dk yarn will do.
