How to crochet an easy coaster built in half double crochet corner to corner boxes. You can also use this little square as a mini washcloth, or large facial scrubbie. You'll need about 22 Yards of Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn - I used WeCrochet Dishie in Bumblebee and Kenai. You'll also need an H8/5mm crochet hook, and tapestry needle. Gauge is not essential, and a hot cup of coffee is not hot enough to melt synthetic fibers so you can easily use any worsted weight yarn from your stash. For reference, I had mine ready in about half an hour.
