Crochet Capelet / Cowl Pattern: My Capelet is a Cowl

I LOVE this capelet. It is beautiful on its own, but you can pull it up onto your shoulders to create a very stunning cowl / wrap.

This pattern is listed as INTERMEDIATE, but it is suitable for a CONFIDENT BEGINNER who has experience making increases while working in the round. 

This capelet utilizes half double crochet stitches and wrapped double crochet stitches. Detailed photos and instructions explain the wrapped double crochet stitches, just in case you are not familiar with them. They are not difficult.
