For those cool days and night when something is needed to just cover the shoulders. The Empire Shawl is a perfect match for those Empire dresses that have a high waist. The pattern is worked in one stitch but it can be made using any stitch as long as you achieve the measurements which is easy to do. Uses Medium Worsted Weight yarn and a 10 mm crochet hook [ USA N/P 15 - Britain 000 ]. The larger hook creates a lacy effect and allows for a nice drape.
