I like this hooded scarf. I think it is very elegant and a little something different. It is suitable for an intermediate crocheter.
I used the following material, but any worsted weight yarn will work nicely.
LOOPS & THREADS IMPECCABLE 100% acrylic yarn (4.5 oz / 277 yds / 253 m / 127.5 g). DEEP FOREST X 2.
This scarf consists mostly of double crochet and chain spaces. Some stitches are worked in back loops only. The hood is crocheted onto the scarf and utilizes some dc decreases.
