Cross Fade Blanket

A simple, beginner friendly textured crochet blanket which uses asymmetric stripes to create a pleasing cross fade. The pattern is worked in rows with striped colour changes. The border uses yarn over slip stitches worked into single crochets and row-ends.

You will need a 5mm crochet hook and approximately 1280m / 640g worsted or aran weight yarn. Split between the two colours, it’s about 780m of Yarn A (including the border which uses around 100m) and 500m of Yarn B.

The item pictured used Rico Essentials Soft Merino Aran, 100% Merino Wool, 50g = 100m.

8 balls Yarn A: Cream (shade 061) and 5 balls Yarn B: Sage (shade 040)
