I made my Crown for a toy to wear, but you could also knit it as a fascinator or small party hat. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the crown is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For intermediate knitters and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. The finished crown is 7cm tall x 7cm wide. Note, this free knitting pattern is for making the Crown only. The owl knitting pattern is available to purchase separately.
