Danaya cardigan is made for 12 - 18 months baby. The measurements are: chest circumference 54cm, length 30cm, sleeve 30cm, width at the bottom 64cm. This garment has positive ease and doesn't restrict baby's movements.
Cardigan is worked top down flat in one piece using raglan method. Sleeves are incorporated in the process and you won't have to cut yarn off after binding the sleeve stitches off. Very little weaving will be required which is a huge plus for a lot of knitters.
I used Rowan Summerlite 4 Ply yarn for this project. Gauge is 28sts x 36 rows = 10 cm 8n stockinette.
The cardigan is fun to make especially when sewing is not required. Written instructions and video tutorials are provided in the pattern. Happy knitting!
