Dance in the dew socks is one of the patterns from the Summer Sock Collection 2020. This collection is a story about Latvian Midsummer traditions.
This design was inspired by this Latvian midsummer belief- If you wish to be healthy and beautiful, bath naked in the morning dew as the sun rises after the solstice night.
The pattern is written for 60 and 64 stitch count, if you typically use more or fewer stitches I would recommend using smaller or bigger needles.
Sizing: Adult S (M) Finished measurements Foot circumference: 7.5 (8)”, 19 (20) cm around. Foot length (adjustable): 9 (10)”, 23 (25) cm. Materials
Yarn: Fingering weight yarn, 400 m in 100 g. Approximately 201 (230) yards, 184 (210) m, 46 (53) g. Yardage may vary if your gauge/yarn is different.
Gauge: 32 sts & 42 rounds to 4” (10cm) in stockinette st on US #1 (2.25 mm) needles.
Needles: US #1 / 2.25mm DPNs (or circular for magic loop). Or as required to meet gauge.
