Dandelion Shawl

Temperatures during Summer can vary drastically from day to day, so I wanted to knit a lovely, bright Summer scarf, that won't necessarily warm me, but protect me from a chill when I go out.

When designing this shawl, the dandelions were all in bloom around me, in the same colour as this warm yellow.

English pattern, with some written instructions, most of cable and lace instructions are shown in charts. Shawl begins at center of back neck, and is shaped by increasing 4 stitches every other row.

SizeAbout 170 cm x 65 cm and triangular.

Yarn3 skeins of Amore Cotton 300 from Borgo de’Pazzi. Full disclosure:t I was playing yarn chicken at the end, and was left with about 2 metres of yarn. You don't deserve this stress. Get an extra skein!

Materials- 3.5 mm circular needles. Circular needles are advised to accommodate the number of stitches, but you use them, knitting back &forth, like with regular needles.
