This crescent-shaped shawl has a leafy lace pattern around the edging, with cables separating the lace panels and a pretty scalloped edging. It's shaped using short rows and has a sturdy i-cord cast-off.
I got the idea for this shawl when I bought the original skeins of handpainted Koigu yarn in a store in Dauphine Street in New Orleans' lovely French Quarter.
