Yo ho, me hearties! These pirate-themed socks will keep your feet toasty but don’t let anyone steal them! Worked from the top down with a flap and gusset heel, these socks are a treat for fans of stranded colourwork. Some experience of the stranded technique will definitely be an advantage as there are some areas where the yarn will need to be carried across a large number of stitches. Either twist the yarns together every few stitches to anchor the carried yarn at the back, or use a crochet hook to ladder up the long floats before anchoring as per photo tutorial in the pattern.
