Den gule (Girl's version)

“Den Gule” are the Danish words for “The yellow one”.

This is the girl’s version of the feminin yellow cardigan. This cardigan is worked from the bottom edge and up with a lace rib and a 2-color flower pattern on the yoke. The sweater has a combined round and raglan yoke and sleeve construction.

The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 25 stitches per 10 centimeters i.e. a yardage of approximate 300 meters per 100 grams. (Pictured in hand dyed (natural dye) merino 300 from Chester wool Company).

This pattern includes directions for a size 4, 6, 8, 10-12 and 14 years with chest width 69 (75, 81, 87, 93) centimeters and a length of 42 (45, 48, 54, 59) centimeters. Size 14 years pictured.

This pattern is written for a knitter who is familiar with 2-color stranded knitting (worked in the round as well as back and forth). The directions is a combination of charts and written instruction.

The pattern does not include finished items, yarn etc.
