The Diamonds of the Night shawl is crocheted with the filet crochet technique. This is a technique with only chains and double crochet stitches.
This shawl is worked top-down and features chains, double crochet, crossed double crochet, front post double crochet and treble crochet stitches.
It is an alternating pattern to make. Which gives a beautiful result as well.
The shawl I crochet is approximately 190 cm width x 70 cm height.
My shawl is crocheted with approximately 225 grams (1000 m) gradient yarn cake (fingering) Scheepjes Whirl (60% cotton / 40% acrylic) and hooksize 4 mm (US G / 6 hook). But can of course be crocheted with any desired yarn.
