Dinoland c2c blanket

I made this blanket for my grandson for his dinosaur themed bedroom. Its a generous size 41 x 41 inch (104 x 104 cm) square and would make a good toddler/ child size or lap blanket. It is made using the c2c technique and feaures a T Rex, Diplodocus and Pterodactyl against a volcanic background. When making this blanket it is important you know how to change colours within the the c2c technique, there are numerous youtube videos available which show you how to do this. I used stylecraft special dk yarn in 11 different shades. Khaki = 387 yds, Stone = 129 yds, Mocha = 161 yds, Duck Egg = 145 yds, Apple = 290yds, Warm Grey = 194 yds, Tomato = 290yds, Cloud Blue = 322 yds, Petrol = 161 yds, Gold =194 yds, White = 64.4 yds I used a 4.5 mm hook.
