World Book Day, and we needed an easy costume for my "I don't do dressing up" son. He loves Harry Potter, so he decided to be free Dobby (that way he could wear clothes, not pillowcases). I looked online for an easy pattern, but couldn't find anything that fitted the bill, so I went to my local bargain store and got a ball of Dobby coloured wool, and decided to design one myself. This is the result. I posted it on Facebook, and a friend asked me to knit one up for her son too. It's a really quick knit, and cheaper than bought fancy dress costumes.
